Related Product Information for anti-IL-17RA antibody
Interleukin 17A (IL-17A) is a proinflammatory cytokine secreted by activated T-lymphocytes. It is a potent inducer of the maturation of CD34-positive hematopoietic precursors into neutrophils. The transmembrane protein encoded by this gene (interleukin 17A receptor; IL17RA) is a ubiquitous type I membrane glycoprotein that binds with low affinity to interleukin 17A. Interleukin 17A and its receptor play a pathogenic role in many inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Like other cytokine receptors, this receptor likely has a multimeric structure. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

Uniprot Description

IL17RA: Receptor for IL17A and IL17F. Binds its IL17A ligand with low affinity, suggesting that additional components are involved in IL17A-induced signaling. Widely expressed.

Protein type: Receptor, cytokine; Membrane protein, integral

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 22q11.1

Cellular Component: integral to plasma membrane; extracellular region

Molecular Function: protein binding; interleukin-17 receptor activity

Biological Process: cell surface receptor linked signal transduction; positive regulation of interleukin-23 production; cytokine and chemokine mediated signaling pathway

Disease: Candidiasis, Familial, 5

Product Notes

The IL-17RA il17ra (Catalog #AAA188650) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-IL-17RA antibody (DM125), Rabbit mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IL-17RA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). FC/FACS: 1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL-17RA il17ra for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-17RA, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
