Mouse anti-Human IGF2BP3 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-IGF2BP3 antibody
IGF2BP3 Antibody
WB: 1:500-1:2000
IHC: 1:200-1:1000
Subunit Structure: Can form homooligomers and heterooligomers with IGF2BP1 and IGF2BP3 in an RNA-dependent manner. Interacts with IGF2BP1. Interacts with ELAVL1, DHX9 and HNRNPU.
Similarity: All KH domains contribute binding to target mRNA. They are also required for RNA-dependent homo-and heterooligomerization. The integrity of KH domains seems not to be required for localization to stress granules. Belongs to the RRM IMP/VICKZ family.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Predicted: 64 kDa
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is primarily found in the nucleolus, where it can bind to the 5' UTR of the insulin-like growth factor II leader 3 mRNA and may repress translation of insulin-like growth factor II during late development. The encoded protein contains several KH domains, which are important in RNA binding and are known to be involved in RNA synthesis and metabolism. A pseudogene exists on chromosome 7, and there are putative pseudogenes on other chromosomes. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
RNA-binding factor that may recruit target transcripts to cytoplasmic protein-RNA complexes (mRNPs). This transcript 'caging' into mRNPs allows mRNA transport and transient storage. It also modulates the rate and location at which target transcripts encounter the translational apparatus and shields them from endonuclease attacks or microRNA-mediated degradation. Binds to the 3'-UTR of CD44 mRNA and stabilizes it, hence promotes cell adhesion and invadopodia formation in cancer cells. Binds to beta-actin/ACTB and MYC transcripts. Binds to the 5'-UTR of the insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2) mRNAs.

Product Notes
The IGF2BP3 igf2bp3 (Catalog #AAA9602548) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IGF2BP3 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IGF2BP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). ELISA: 1:10000 WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC: 1:200-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IGF2BP3 igf2bp3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IGF2BP3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
