Rabbit anti-Human HSPB1 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-HSPB1 antibody
Anti-HSPB1 [SAIC-23B-22]
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometry using the Anti-HSPB1 antibody SAIC-23B-22 (MBS488551). Paraformaldehyde fixed HeLa cells permeabilized with 0.5% Triton were stained with anti-unknown specificity antibody (MBS488149; isotype control, black line) or the rabbit IgG version of SAIC-23B-22 (, blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-rabbit IgG AlexaFluor 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot using anti-HSPB1 antibody SAIC-23B-22 (MBS488551). Human heart(A) (0.1ug/ml) and human placenta(B) (0.3ug/ml) tissue lysates (35ug protein in RIPA buffer) were resolved on a SDS PAGE gel and blots were probed with the chimeric rabbit version of SAIC-23B-22 (), before detection using an anti-rabbit secondary antibody. A primary incubation of 1h was used and protein was detected by chemiluminescence.)
Peptide "DGVVEITGK" derived from Heat shock protein beta-1, involved in stress resistance and actin organisation, conjugated to KLH.
Note on publication: Describes generation a panel of recombinant antibodies using synthetic peptides of human proteins as well as validation using ELISA and multiple reaction monitoring-mass spectrometry.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is induced by environmental stress and developmental changes. The encoded protein is involved in stress resistance and actin organization and translocates from the cytoplasm to the nucleus upon stress induction. Defects in this gene are a cause of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2F (CMT2F) and distal hereditary motor neuropathy (dHMN). [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2008]
Uniprot Description
HSP27: a small heat shock protein that is regulated both transcriptionally and posttranslationally. Modulates actin polymerization and reorganization. Its expression level increases several-fold in response to stress and is phosphorylated by MAPKAP kinase 2. Cytoplasmic in interphase cells. Colocalizes with mitotic spindles in mitotic cells. Translocates to the nucleus during heat shock.

Product Notes
The HSPB1 hspb1 (Catalog #AAA488551) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-HSPB1 [SAIC-23B-22] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HSPB1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, immuno Multiple Reaction Monitoring (immuno-MRM). Original data characterizing this antibody may be found here. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HSPB1 hspb1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HSPB1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
