Related Product Information for anti-hspa1l antibody
HSC70-interacting protein (Hip) is a cytosolic protein that exists as a homo-oligomer and participates in the regulation of the heat shock protein HSC70 in eukaryotic cells. Hip interacts with the ATPase domain of HSC70 molecules through the tetratricopeptide repeats and flanking charged a-helices of Hip. This binding reaction is dependent on HSP40 in the presence of ATP and becomes Hsp40-independent if HSC70 is preincubated with ADP. Upon binding to HsSC70, Hip stabilizes the ADP-bound state of HsSC70, a conformation that has a high affinity for unfolded substrate proteins. Hip by itself binds unfolded polypeptides, suggesting that it may possess chaperone activity. Together with HSP40, Hip may regulate the chaperone activity of HSC70 by stabilizing the chaperone- substrate complex.

Product Notes

The hspa1l (Catalog #AAA601811) is an Antibody produced from mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Heat Shock Cognate Protein 70 (HSC70, HSP73) reacts with Feline, Human, Monkey, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Heat Shock Cognate Protein 70 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot: 1:2500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the hspa1l for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Heat Shock Cognate Protein 70, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
