Related Product Information for anti-GAB1 antibody
Description: Grb2-associated binding protein 1 is a member of the IRS-1-like multisubstrate docking protein family. Contains an N-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain and several proline-rich SH3 domain-binding sequences. Mediates branching tubulogenesis and plays a central role in cellular growth response, transformation and apoptosis.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the IRS1-like multisubstrate docking protein family. It is an important mediator of branching tubulogenesis and plays a central role in cellular growth response, transformation and apoptosis. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2008]

Uniprot Description

Adapter protein that plays a role in intracellular signaling cascades triggered by activated receptor-type kinases. Plays a role in FGFR1 signaling. Probably involved in signaling by the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and the insulin receptor (INSR). Involved in the MET/HGF-signaling pathway (PubMed:29408807).

Product Notes

The GAB1 gab1 (Catalog #AAA9602566) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GAB1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GAB1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemisty (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC). ELISA: 1:10000 WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC: 1:200-1:1000 FC: 1:200-1:400 The optimal dilution should be determined by the end users. IMPORTANT: For western blots, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% w/v milk, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween®20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. . Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GAB1 gab1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GAB1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
