Related Product Information for anti-FN1 antibody
Fibronectins are diverse high molecular weight cell adhesion glycoproteins found in basement membranes, in the interstitial connective tissue matrix, and in soluble in plasma and other body fluids. In adult tissues most fibronectin is produced by hepatocytes (pFn) that differ from locally produced cellular fibronectins. cFns are found in some basement membranes during development and only in distinct tissues in adult, for instance in smooth muscle and alveolar walls of airways. cFns are abundant in the plasma of carcinoma patients and in the stroma of various carcinomas.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes fibronectin, a glycoprotein present in a soluble dimeric form in plasma, and in a dimeric or multimeric form at the cell surface and in extracellular matrix. Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion and migration processes including embryogenesis, wound healing, blood coagulation, host defense, and metastasis. The gene has three regions subject to alternative splicing, with the potential to produce 20 different transcript variants. However, the full-length nature of some variants has not been determined. Product Notes

The FN1 fn1 (Catalog #AAA632161) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Fibronectin, Cellular (cFn, FN, FN1, Cold-insoluble Globulin, CIG, DKFZp686F10164, DKFZp686H0342, DKFZp686I1370, DKFZp686O13149, ED-B, FINC, FNZ, GFND, GFND2, LETS, MSF) reacts with Chicken, Guinea Pig, Human, Rabbit, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Fibronectin, Cellular can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot 1:100-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry 1:10-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 1:10-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FN1 fn1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Fibronectin, Cellular, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
