Related Product Information for anti-FcepsilonRIalpha antibody
FcepsilonRIalpha is a transmembrane protein belonging to the Ig superfamily. FcepsilonRIalpha forms a tetrameric complex with one beta and two gamma-subunits. The FcepsilonRI complex plays an important role in triggering IgE-mediated allergic reactions. It is abundantly expressed on mast and basophils and up-regulated by the presence of IgE. Following stimulation via FcepsilonRIalpha, mast cells and basophils release bioactive chemical mediators such as histamine, resulting in the initiation of allergic reactions. Cross linking of the high-affinity receptor for IgE on tissue mast cells triggers immediate hypersensitivity with local symptoms. The MAR-1 monoclonal antibody reacts with the FcepsilonRIalpha subunit.

Uniprot Description

Binds to the Fc region of immunoglobulins epsilon. High affinity receptor. Responsible for initiating the allergic response. Binding of allergen to receptor-bound IgE leads to cell activation and the release of mediators (such as histamine) responsible for the manifestations of allergy. The same receptor also induces the secretion of important lymphokines.

Product Notes

The FcepsilonRIalpha fcer1a (Catalog #AAA2559352) is an Antibody produced from Armenian Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Mouse FcepsilonRIalpha Monoclonal Antibody (APC Conjugated) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FcepsilonRIalpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FcepsilonRIalpha fcer1a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FcepsilonRIalpha, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
