• Preparation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human ENO3/beta-enolase (rh ENO3/beta-enolase). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
• Preparation and Storage: This antibody can be stored at 2-8 degree C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. Preservative-Free. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

ENO3 is one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. As a homodimer, ENO3 is found in skeletal muscle cells in the adult. A switch from alpha enolase to beta enolase occurs in muscle tissue during development in rodents. Mutations in ENO3 gene can be associated with metabolic myopathies that may result from decreased stability of the enzyme. Two transcripts have been identified for ENO3 gene that differ only in their 5' UTR. ENO3 may play a role in muscle development and regeneration. It appears to have a function in striated muscle development and regeneration.
