Mouse anti-Human EDAR Monoclonal Antibody | anti-EDAR antibody
EDAR antibody
For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
Western Blot (WB)
(The recombinant protein (50ng) and cell lysates (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human EDAR antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Lane 1 : Recombinant protein Lane 2 : A549 cell lysate Lane 3 : Ramos cell lysate )
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family. The encoded transmembrane protein is a receptor for the soluble ligand ectodysplasin A, and can activate the nuclear factor-kappaB, JNK, and caspase-independent cell death pathways. It is required for the development of hair, teeth, and other ectodermal derivatives. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal dominant and recessive forms of hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Receptor for EDA isoform A1, but not for EDA isoform A2. Mediates the activation of NF-kappa-B and JNK. May promote caspase-independent cell death.

Product Notes
The EDAR edar (Catalog #AAA200329) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EDAR antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's EDAR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EDAR edar for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "EDAR, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
