Mouse anti-Human CHODL Monoclonal Antibody | anti-CHODL antibody
CHODL antibody
For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
Western Blot (WB)
(The Cell lysates (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human CHODL antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a type I membrane protein with a carbohydrate recognition domain characteristic of C-type lectins in its extracellular portion. In other proteins, this domain is involved in endocytosis of glycoproteins and exogenous sugar-bearing pathogens. This protein localizes predominantly to the perinuclear region. Several transcript variants encoding a few different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2011]
Uniprot Description
May play a role in the development of the nervous system such as in neurite outgrowth and elongation. May be involved in motor axon growth and guidance.

Product Notes
The CHODL chodl (Catalog #AAA200384) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CHODL antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CHODL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB: 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CHODL chodl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CHODL, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
