Related Product Information for anti-CD77 antibody
CD77 (globotriaosylceramide Gb3), also known as the Pk blood group antigen, BLA (Burkitt's lymphoma associated antigen), or CTH (ceramide trihexoside) is a neutral glycosphingolipid composed of three carbohydrate molecules linked to a lipid moiety in the cell membrane (Gal-alpha1-4Gal-beta1-4Glc-beta1-Cer). It is expressed on germinal center B cells, Burkitt's lymphoma cells, it can be induced on extrafolicular B cells and it is also found on endothelia and epithelia. CD77 may be involved in elimination of germinal center B cells that fail to produce high affinity antibodies, and serves also as receptor for shiga toxin and verotoxin.

Product Notes

The CD77 (Catalog #AAA1801915) is an Antibody produced from Lewis Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Hu CD77 PE reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD77 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (QC tested). FC/FACS: The reagent is designed for analysis of human blood cells using 10ul reagent/100ul of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (1 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD77 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD77, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
