Specificity
It recognizes a protein of 30kDa, identified as CD70. It is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is a surface antigen on activated, but not on resting, T- and B-lymphocytes. It induces proliferation of co-stimulated T cells, enhances the generation of cytolytic T cells, and contributes to T cell activation. This cytokine is also reported to play a role in regulating B-cell activation, cytotoxic function of natural killer cells, and immunoglobulin synthesis. This MAb blocks the interaction between CD27 and CD70, and has been shown to inhibit T cell proliferation induced by dendritic cells.

Product Notes

The CD70 cd70 (Catalog #AAA439093) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD70 / TNFSF7 (Activated T- & B-Lymphocyte Marker) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD70 / TNFSF7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin. ELISA (For coating, order Ab without BSA) Inhibits T cell proliferation induced by dendritic cells (Order Ab without Azide) Flow Cytometry (0.5-1ug/million cells in 0.1ml) Immunofluorescence (0.5-1ug/ml) Immunoprecipitation (0.5-1 -g/500ug protein Lysate) Immunohistochemistry (Frozen) (0.5-1ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD70 cd70 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD70 / TNFSF7, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
