Volume: 0.2 ml (varies by lot)
Applicable Applications for anti-CD49f antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
Application Notes
1:50 (or use 1.6ul of concentrated stock per 5 x 105-cell test)
Performance
Five x 105 cultured Raji human tumor cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ul of anti-CD49f/FITC at a 1:50 dilution (10 ug/ml). Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 0.63 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/FITC negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was blocked when cells were pre incubated 10 minutes with 20 ul of 0.5 mg/ml anti-CD49f antibody.
Conjugation
FITC
Production
Protein A purified antibody from tissue culture supernatant was reacted with FITC. Unconjugated FITC was separated from antibody/FITC conjugate by desalting column. The antibody/FITC conjugate is at 0.5 mg/ml with a Fluorescein/Antibody molar ratio of 6.4.
Buffer
50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 100 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 5% Glycerol, 0.2% BSA, 0.04% NaN3 (as a preservative).

UM-UC-9, human bladder cancer cells
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2 - 5 degree C. Freeze/Thawing is not recommended. Protect from light
Product should retain activity for at least 12 months after shipping date when stored as recommended.

Related Product Information for anti-CD49f antibody
Information: Human CD49f molecules are integrin alpha 6 chains that are expressed as heterodimers with CD29 (beta1 integrin) or CD104 (beta4 integrin) and function as adhesion receptors. CD49f is expressed on platelets, monocytes, T lymphocytes and thymoctyes. The ligands for CD49f/CD29 include laminin and invasion. CD49f/CD29 has been shown to associate with CD63.

Product Notes

The CD49f (Catalog #AAA666557) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The anti-human CD49f-FITC reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD49f can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). 1:50 (or use 1.6ul of concentrated stock per 5 x 105-cell test). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD49f for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD49f, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
