CD45R/B220, a member of the protein tyrosine phosphate family and a major cell surface glycoprotein, represents a restricted form of the CD45 family which primarily recognizes only cells of B-lineage from pro-B cell through mature B lymphocytes and, prior to the availability of anti-CD19 MAbs, was commonly used as a pan B-cell marker.^1-5 It also reacts with certain activated T cells, as well as non-MHC-restricted lytically active lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cells.^1, 6 In vivo administration of RA3-6B2 has been shown to affect differentiation of both T and B cells in normal mice and reduce the level of anti-DNA antibodies and lymphadenopathies in MRL/lpr mice.^7, 8
Form/Format
Spectral Red (SPRD) Conjugate
Applicable Applications for anti-CD45R/B220 antibody
Flow Cytometry; Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections); Immunoprecipitation
Application Notes
Flow Cytometry Suggested Dilution: <= 0.2 ug/10^6 cells
Immunogen
Abelson murine leukemia virus-induced pre-B tumor cells
Characterization
To ensure lot-to-lot consistency, each batch of monoclonal antibody is tested by flow cytometry to conform to characteristics of a standard reference reagent. Representative data are included in this product insert.

Product Notes

The CD45R/B220 (Catalog #AAA673386) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rat Anti-Mouse CD45R/B220-SPRD reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD45R/B220 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry; Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections); Immunoprecipitation. Flow Cytometry Suggested Dilution: <= 0.2 ug/10^6 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD45R/B220 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD45R/B220, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
