Related Product Information for anti-CD32 antibody
Mouse anti Human CD32 antibody, clone AT10 recognizes the human CD32 antigen, a 40kDa glycoprotein that acts as a low affinity receptor for IgG (also known as Fc gamma RII). The antigen mediates several functions including endocytosis, activation of secretion, cytotoxicity and immunomodulation. CD32 is expressed by B cells, monocytes, granulocytes and platelets. Clone AT10 blocks the binding of IgG to Fc gamma RII (Larsson et al. 1997).

NCBI Description

This gene encodes one member of a family of immunoglobulin Fc receptor genes found on the surface of many immune response cells. The protein encoded by this gene is a cell surface receptor found on phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, and is involved in the process of phagocytosis and clearing of immune complexes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2008]

Uniprot Description

FCGR2A: low affinity receptor for the Fc region of IgGs. Binding to IgG initiates cellular responses against pathogens and soluble antigens. A type I membrane protein found on monocytes, neutrophils and platelets. SHP-1 associates with this protein to modulate signaling events in myeloid cells.

Product Notes

The CD32 fcgr2a (Catalog #AAA210611) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD32 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells or 100ul whole blood Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: Neat; Maximum Dilution: 1/10. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD32 fcgr2a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD32, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
