Related Product Information for anti-CD193 antibody
CD193/CCR3 is a G-protein coupled receptor for several chemokines, namely CCL11 (eotaxin), CCL26 (eotaxin-3), CCL7 (MCP-4), or CCL5 (RANTES). It is highly expressed on eosinophils and basophils, and is also detected in TH1 and TH2 cells, as well as in airway epithelial cells. CD193 is the key eosinophil chemokine receptor responsible for regulation of eosinophil migration and Functional Application (FUNC)tion. This receptor may contribute to the accumulation and activation of eosinophils and other inflammatory cells in the allergic airway. It is also known to be an entry co-receptor for HIV-1.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for C-C type chemokines. It belongs to family 1 of the G protein-coupled receptors. This receptor binds and responds to a variety of chemokines, including eotaxin (CCL11), eotaxin-3 (CCL26), MCP-3 (CCL7), MCP-4 (CCL13), and RANTES (CCL5). It is highly expressed in eosinophils and basophils, and is also detected in TH1 and TH2 cells, as well as in airway epithelial cells. This receptor may contribute to the accumulation and activation of eosinophils and other inflammatory cells in the allergic airway. It is also known to be an entry co-receptor for HIV-1. This gene and seven other chemokine receptor genes form a chemokine receptor gene cluster on the chromosomal region 3p21. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. Product Notes

The CD193 ccr3 (Catalog #AAA1802122) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Hu CD193 Pacific Blue reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD193 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (QC tested). FC/FACS: The reagent is designed for analysis of human blood cells using 4ul reagent/100ul of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (0.4 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD193 ccr3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD193, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
