Related Product Information for anti-CD16/CD32 antibody
Rat anti Mouse CD16/CD32 antibody, clone FCR4G8 recognizes an epitope expressed by the murine low affinity Fc receptors, Fc gamma III (CD16) and Fc gamma II (CD32). In the mouse only the transmembrane form of CD16 is reported to exist, which is expressed on macrophages, NK cells, granulocytes, myeloid precursors, and subpopulations of T lymphocytes. CD32 is primarily expressed on cells of the myeloid lineage and also on mature B lymphocytes.

Uniprot Description

FCGR2B: a transmembrane receptor for the Fc region of complexed or aggregated immunoglobulin gamma (IgG). Involved in a variety of effector and regulatory functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation of antibody production by B-cells. Binding to this receptor results in down modulation of previous state of cell activation triggered via antigen receptors on B cells, T cells or via another Fc receptor. Three splice-variant isoforms have been observed.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Cell surface; Oncoprotein

Cellular Component: recycling endosome; cytoskeleton; cell surface; membrane; integral to plasma membrane; cytoplasm; extracellular region; integral to membrane; plasma membrane; external side of plasma membrane; lipid raft

Molecular Function: protein binding; IgG binding; receptor signaling protein activity; immunoglobulin binding

Biological Process: negative regulation of phagocytosis; receptor-mediated endocytosis; negative regulation of interleukin-10 production; negative regulation of immune response; negative regulation of acute inflammatory response to antigenic stimulus; antigen processing and presentation of exogenous peptide antigen via MHC class II; defense response; negative regulation of B cell proliferation; endocytic recycling; mast cell activation; negative regulation of type I hypersensitivity; negative regulation of neutrophil apoptosis; negative regulation of humoral immune response mediated by circulating immunoglobulin; cell surface receptor linked signal transduction; response to bacterium; positive regulation of phagocytosis; negative regulation of immunoglobulin production; immune complex clearance; negative regulation of inflammatory response to antigenic stimulus; immune response; immunoglobulin mediated immune response; phagocytosis, engulfment

Product Notes

The CD16/CD32 fcgr2 (Catalog #AAA212682) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD16/CD32 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul. Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/25; Maximum Dilution: 1/50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD16/CD32 fcgr2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD16/CD32, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
