Principle of the Assay||The Mouse CD32 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Mouse CD32 in Cell Culture Supernatants, Serum, Plasma. This assay employs an antibody specific for Mouse CD32 coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and CD32 present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Mouse CD32 antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CD32 bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.

Background/Introduction: CD32 is a surface receptor protein and part of a large population of B cell co-receptors, which act to modulate signaling. It has a low-affinity for IgG antibodies and down-regulates antibody production in the presence of IgG. This feedback loops essentially lowers the production of IgG produced by B cells when there is a surplus in the body.

Uniprot Description

FCGR2B: a transmembrane receptor for the Fc region of complexed or aggregated immunoglobulin gamma (IgG). Involved in a variety of effector and regulatory functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation of antibody production by B-cells. Binding to this receptor results in down modulation of previous state of cell activation triggered via antigen receptors on B cells, T cells or via another Fc receptor. Three splice-variant isoforms have been observed.

Product Notes

The Mouse FCGR2B fcgr2 (Catalog #AAA8244618) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA8244618 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse FCGR2B. AAA Biotech's CD32 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Sandwich ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FCGR2B fcgr2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD32, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
