FC: <= 0.125 ug/test

A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. The CBRIC2/2 antibody has also been found useful for immunoblotting of a human /ipheral blood cell lysate, recognizing a protein of approximately 55 kD under non?reducing conditions. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal /formance in the assay of interest.
Biological Significance
The 5E8-G9-B4 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD193. CD193 is a member of the seven transmembrane G-protein coupled receptor family, and is a high affinity chemokine receptor for the chemokines eotaxin-1, eotaxin-2, eotaxin-3 and MCP-4, but has also been reported to bind RANTES, MCP-3 and MCP-4. CD193 is highly expressed on the surface of eosinophils, and is the key eosinophil chemokine receptor responsible for the regulation of eosinophil migration and function. In addition to eosinophils, CD193 is also expressed on CD4+ TH2 cells, basophils, mast cells, mononuclear phagocytes, platelets, CD34+ hematopoietic progenitors and airway epithelial cells. CD193 likely plays an important role in the migration of eosinophils in allergic airway inflammation and asthma. CD193 can also serve as a receptor for HIV-1 cell entry.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for C-C type chemokines. It belongs to family 1 of the G protein-coupled receptors. This receptor binds and responds to a variety of chemokines, including eotaxin (CCL11), eotaxin-3 (CCL26), MCP-3 (CCL7), MCP-4 (CCL13), and RANTES (CCL5). It is highly expressed in eosinophils and basophils, and is also detected in TH1 and TH2 cells, as well as in airway epithelial cells. This receptor may contribute to the accumulation and activation of eosinophils and other inflammatory cells in the allergic airway. It is also known to be an entry co-receptor for HIV-1. This gene and seven other chemokine receptor genes form a chemokine receptor gene cluster on the chromosomal region 3p21. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. Product Notes

The CCR3 ccr3 (Catalog #AAA833134) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CCR3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Functional Assay, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). FC: <= 0.125 ug/test A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal /formance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCR3 ccr3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCR3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
