Applicable Applications for anti-CCL2 antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
Application Notes
FC: <= 1 ug/test

A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
Biological Significance
The 5D3-F7 antibody reacts with human, cynomolgus, and rhesus monkey monocyte chemoattractant protein-1, also known as monocyte chemotactic and activating factor and CCL2. MCP-1 is a CC chemokine which presents as a dimer. Derived from monocytes and vascular endothelial cells, it exerts chemoattractant activity on a variety of cell types, such as monocytes, basophils, T cells and NK cells via chemokine receptors such as CCR2, CCR5, and CCR10.
Tag/Conjugate
Allophycocyanin
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.

Product Notes

The CCL2 (Catalog #AAA834053) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CCL2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). FC: <= 1 ug/test A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCL2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCL2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
