Mouse BMP2K Monoclonal Antibody | anti-BMP2K antibody
BMP2K (BMP2 Inducible Kinase, BIKE, DKFZp434K0614, DKFZp434P0116, HRIHFB2017) (FITC)
FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of BMP2K over-expressed 293 cell line, cotransfected with BMP2K Validated Chimera RNAi (Cat # H0MBS60522619-R01V) (Lane 2) or non-transfected control (Lane 1). Blot probed with BMP2K monoclonal antibody (M03) clone X1. GAPDH (36.1 kDa) used as specificity and loading control.)
Testing Data
(Detection limit for recombinant GST tagged BMP2K is approximately 0.1ng/ml as a capture antibody.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene is the human homolog of mouse BMP-2-inducible kinase. Bone morphogenic proteins (BMPs) play a key role in skeletal development and patterning. Expression of the mouse gene is increased during BMP-2 induced differentiation and the gene product is a putative serine/threonine protein kinase containing a nuclear localization signal. Therefore, the protein encoded by this human homolog is thought to be a protein kinase with a putative regulatory role in attenuating the program of osteoblast differentiation. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The BMP2K (Catalog #AAA6178563) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's BMP2K can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BMP2K for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BMP2K, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
