Related Product Information for anti-Biotin (Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H) antibody
It recognizes both the free and protein-conjugated (either soluble or cell bound) form of biotin. This MAb is highly specific to biotin and shows no cross-reaction with other structurally related compounds. It has a very high affinity for biotin and is excellent for use in various amplification techniques. In some applications, localization of biotinylated probes with avidin produces unacceptably high background staining. Anti-biotin antibody may be substituted to decrease this noise.

Product Notes

The Biotin (Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H) (Catalog #AAA4382428) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Biotin (Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [Clone BTN399] reacts with All species and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Biotin (Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Confocal Microscopy, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Formalin (IHC-F). Confocal Microscopy: In situ Nucleic Acid Hybridization FC/FACS: 0.5-1ug/million cells IF: 0.5-1ug/ml WB: 0.5-2ug/ml IHC (Formalin-fixed): 0.5-1ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA, pH9.0, for 45 minutes at 95 degree C followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Biotin (Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H) for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Biotin (Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H), Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
