Preparation and Storage
Store product at 4 degree C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable at -20 degree C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

The BCL7A protein is encoded by the gene known to be directly involved in a three-way gene translocation in a Burkitt lymphoma cell line. Involvement in disease: BCL7B is located in the Williams-Beuren syndrome (WBS) critical region. WBS results from a hemizygous deletion of several genes on chromosome 7q11.23, thought to arise as a consequence of unequal crossing over between highly homologous low-copy repeat sequences flanking the deleted region. Haploinsufficiency of BCL7B may be the cause of certain cardiovascular and musculo-skeletal abnormalities observed in the disease. Ref.2 Ref.3
Allergenic properties: Causes an allergic reaction in human. Binds to IgE from atopic dermatitis (AD) patients. Identified as an IgE autoantigen in atopic dermatitis (AD) patients with severe skin manifestations. Ref.9
