Immunogen
E Coli-derived human ARA9 recombinant protein (Position: D91-H330). Human ARA9 shares 95% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with both mouse and rat ARA9.
Reconstitution
Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Relevant Detection Systems
It is recommended to use an Enhanced Chemiluminescent Kit with anti-Rabbit IgG (MBS176460) for Western blot, and HRP Conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG Super Vision Assay Kit (MBS176453) for IHC-P and ICC.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4 degree C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -21 degree C for a longer time.

The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for aryl hydrocarbons and a ligand-activated transcription factor. The encoded protein is found in the cytoplasm as part of a multiprotein complex, but upon binding of ligand is transported to the nucleus. This protein can regulate the expression of many xenobiotic metabolizing enzymes. Also, the encoded protein can bind specifically to and inhibit the activity of hepatitis B virus.
