Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) ( Flow-cytometry using the anti-Alpha Tubulin F2C HepG2 (A), HeLa (B) and Hek293 (C) cells were stained with unimmunized rabbit IgG antibody (black line) or the rabbit-chimeric version of F2C at a concentration of 10 ug/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using anti-rabbit IgG JK (FITC-conjugate) antibody (129936) at 2 ug/ml and cells analyzed on a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.)

Immunofluorescence (IF)

( Immunofluoresence staining of fixed HeLa cells with anti-Alpha-tubulin antibody F2C Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed HeLa cells, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of F2C at 10 ug/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (1 ug/ml), showing microtubule staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom DAPI, merged channels and a negative control. The negative control was stained with unimmunized rabbit IgG followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody.)

Western Blot (WB)

( Western Blot using anti-Alpha-Tubulin antibody F2C HeLa (A), HEK293 (B), and HepG2 (C) cell lysate samples (35ug protein in RIPA buffer) were resolved on a 10% SDS PAGE gel and blots probed with the chimeric rabbit version of F2C at 0.01 ug/ml before detection using an anti-rabbit secondary antibody. A primary incubation of 1h was used and protein was detected by chemiluminescence. The expected band size for Alpha-Tubulin is ~55kDa. HEK293, and HepG2 cell lysate samples.)

Product Notes

The TUBA (Catalog #AAA488244) is a Recombinant Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Alpha-Tubulin [F2C] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Alpha-Tubulin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TUBA for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Alpha-Tubulin, Monoclonal Recombinant Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
