NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
PSMD11: Component of the lid subcomplex of the 26S proteasome, a multiprotein complex involved in the ATP-dependent degradation of ubiquitinated proteins. In the complex, PSMD11 is required for proteasome assembly. Plays a key role in increased proteasome activity in embryonic stem cells (ESCs): its high expression in ESCs promotes enhanced assembly of the 26S proteasome, followed by higher proteasome activity. Belongs to the proteasome subunit S9 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Proteasome complex; Protease
Cellular Component: proteasome complex; membrane; proteasome regulatory particle; nucleus
Molecular Function: protein binding
Biological Process: ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; stem cell differentiation; proteasome assembly

Product Notes
The PSMD11 psmd11 (Catalog #AAA140209) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's 26S proteasome non-ATPase regulatory subunit 11 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). PSMD11 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:250 ~ 1000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:250. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PSMD11 psmd11 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "26S proteasome non-ATPase regulatory subunit 11, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
