Mouse anti-Human PSMD11 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-PSMD11 antibody
PSMD11
Immunocytochemistry (ICC)/Immunofluorescence (IF)
(ICC/IF analysis of PSMD11 in HeLa cells. The cell was stained (1:100). The secondary antibody (green) was used Alexa Fluor 488. DAPI was stained the cell nucleus (blue).)
Western Blot (WB)
(The cell lysates (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human PSMD11 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The 26S proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered structure composed of 2 complexes, a 20S core and a 19S regulator. The 20S core is composed of 4 rings of 28 non-identical subunits; 2 rings are composed of 7 alpha subunits and 2 rings are composed of 7 beta subunits. The 19S regulator is composed of a base, which contains 6 ATPase subunits and 2 non-ATPase subunits, and a lid, which contains up to 10 non-ATPase subunits. Proteasomes are distributed throughout eukaryotic cells at a high concentration and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent process in a non-lysosomal pathway. This gene encodes a member of the proteasome subunit S9 family that functions as a non-ATPase subunit of the 19S regulator and is phosphorylated by AMP-activated protein kinase. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2012]
Uniprot Description
PSMD11: Component of the lid subcomplex of the 26S proteasome, a multiprotein complex involved in the ATP-dependent degradation of ubiquitinated proteins. In the complex, PSMD11 is required for proteasome assembly. Plays a key role in increased proteasome activity in embryonic stem cells (ESCs): its high expression in ESCs promotes enhanced assembly of the 26S proteasome, followed by higher proteasome activity. Belongs to the proteasome subunit S9 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The PSMD11 psmd11 (Catalog #AAA201219) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PSMD11 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PSMD11 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis and ICC/IF to assure specificity and reactivity. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PSMD11 psmd11 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PSMD11, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
