Human Integrin beta-2 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an integrin beta chain, which combines with multiple different alpha chains to form different integrin heterodimers. Integrins are integral cell-surface proteins that participate in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signalling. The encoded protein plays an important role in immune response and defects in this gene cause leukocyte adhesion deficiency. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Uniprot Description
ITGB2: the integrin beta 2 subunit. Can combine with multiple partners resulting in different integrins. For example, beta 2 combines with the alpha L chain to form the integrin LFA-1, and combines with the alpha M chain to form the integrin Mac-1. Participates in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signaling. Defects are the cause of leukocyte adhesion deficiency type I (LAD1).

Product Notes
The Human ITGB2 itgb2 (Catalog #AAA2880157) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2880157 ELISA Kit recognizes Human ITGB2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Integrin beta-2, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
