Suitable for use in in vitro or cell based assays.
Dilution: Dilute into aqueous buffers to yield desired concentrations with final DMSO concentrations of ~0.1%. IC50 values for inhibitory activity against FRAP/mTOR are around 50pM. Such inhibitory activity is seen in cultured cells stimulated with fetal calf serum or a variety of growth factors. For experiments with cultured cells, pretreat with 10nM of R1137-01 for one hour prior to stimulation. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
