Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 14 (TNFRSF14) ELISA Kit | TNFRSF14 elisa kit
Human Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 14 (TNFRSF14) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with human TNF R2 antibody. TNF R2 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated human TNF R2 Antibody is added and binds to TNF R2 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated TNF R2 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of human TNF R2. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the TNF (tumor necrosis factor) receptor superfamily. The encoded protein functions in signal transduction pathways that activate inflammatory and inhibitory T-cell immune response. It binds herpes simplex virus (HSV) viral envelope glycoprotein D (gD), mediating its entry into cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2014]
Uniprot Description
TNFRSF14: Receptor for BTLA. Receptor for TNFSF14/LIGHT and homotrimeric TNFSF1/lymphotoxin-alpha. Involved in lymphocyte activation. Plays an important role in HSV pathogenesis because it enhanced the entry of several wild-type HSV strains of both serotypes into CHO cells, and mediated HSV entry into activated human T-cells.

Product Notes
The Human TNFRSF14 tnfrsf14 (Catalog #AAA1603923) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1603923 ELISA Kit recognizes Human TNFRSF14. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 14 (TNFRSF14), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
