Human Serine/Threonine-Protein Phosphatase 2B Catalytic Subunit beta Isoform (PPP3CB) ELISA Kit | PPP3CB elisa kit
Human Serine/Threonine-Protein Phosphatase 2B Catalytic Subunit beta Isoform (PPP3CB) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: Calcineurin, a calmodulin-regulated protein phosphatase, is found in the cells of all eukaryotes ranging from yeast to mammals. Wang et al. (1996) described this heterodimeric protein as having a 19-kD Ca(2+)-binding regulatory subunit, calcineurin B, and a 58- to 59-kD catalytic subunit, calcineurin A. One gene encodes calcineurin B (PPP3R1) in all tissues except testis, and it is highly conserved at the level of both protein and DNA sequences in eukaryotes. In contrast, there are 2 major isoforms, alpha (PPP3CA) and beta (PPP3CB), of calcineurin A encoded by separate genes located on different human chromosomes. A third isoform, A-gamma (PPP3CC), is unique to testis. Additional diversity of calcineurin A is created by alternative splicing of mRNAs.

Uniprot Description
PPP3CB: a calmodulin-dependent Ser/Thr phosphatase also known calcineurin A beta. Involved in a wide range of biologic activities, acting as a Ca(2 )-dependent modifier of phosphorylation status. The calcineurin holoenzyme is composed of catalytic and regulatory subunits of 60 and 18 kD, respectively.

Product Notes
The Human PPP3CB ppp3cb (Catalog #AAA9714855) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9714855 ELISA Kit recognizes Human PPP3CB. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Serine/Threonine-Protein Phosphatase 2B Catalytic Subunit beta Isoform (PPP3CB), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
