Related Product Information for MYO1D elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: Human Myosin-Id (MYO1D) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate MYO1D in samples. An antibody specific for MYO1D has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any MYO1D present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, HRP-Conjugated Human MYO1D detection antibody is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound HRP reagent, a Chromogen solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MYO1D bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Background/Introduction: MYO1D (Myosin ID) a member of the class I myosin family, is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with MYO1D include Refractive Error and Canavan Disease. Among its related pathways are Pathogenic Escherichia coli infection and Actin Nucleation by ARP-WASP Complex.

Uniprot Description

MYO1D: Myosins are actin-based motor molecules with ATPase activity. Unconventional myosins serve in intracellular movements. Their highly divergent tails are presumed to bind to membranous compartments, which would be moved relative to actin filaments.

Product Notes

The Human MYO1D myo1d (Catalog #AAA9715087) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9715087 ELISA Kit recognizes Human MYO1D. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Myosin-Id (MYO1D), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
