Human Inhibitory Subunit Of NF Kappa B Alpha (IkBa) ELISA Kit | IkBa elisa kit
Human Inhibitory Subunit Of NF Kappa B Alpha (IkBa) High Sensitive ELISA Kit
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between High Sensitive Inhibitory Subunit Of NF Kappa B Alpha (IkBa) and analogues was observed.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level High Sensitive Inhibitory Subunit Of NF Kappa B Alpha (IkBa) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
CV(%) = SD/meanX100
Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-Assay: CV<12%
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the NF-kappa-B inhibitor family, which contain multiple ankrin repeat domains. The encoded protein interacts with REL dimers to inhibit NF-kappa-B/REL complexes which are involved in inflammatory responses. The encoded protein moves between the cytoplasm and the nucleus via a nuclear localization signal and CRM1-mediated nuclear export. Mutations in this gene have been found in ectodermal dysplasia anhidrotic with T-cell immunodeficiency autosomal dominant disease. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]
Uniprot Description
IkB-alpha: a regulatory protein that inhibits NF-kappa-B by complexing with and trapping it in the cytoplasm. May be involved in regulation of transcriptional responses to NF-kappa-B, including cell adhesion, immune and proinflammatory responses, apoptosis, differentiation and growth. Controlled by sequential serine-phosphorylation, ubiquitination and degradation.

Product Notes
The Human IkBa nfkbia (Catalog #AAA2708075) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2708075 ELISA Kit recognizes Human IkBa. AAA Biotech's Inhibitory Subunit Of NF Kappa B Alpha (IkBa) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IkBa nfkbia for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Inhibitory Subunit Of NF Kappa B Alpha (IkBa), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
