Background: Human C1S ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for C1S has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards (Expression system for standard: NSO, Immunogen sequence: E16-D688) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for C1S is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human Fibronectin amount of sample captured in plate. Complement component 1s is a protein involved in the complement system. It is mapped to 12p13.31. This gene encodes a serine protease, which is a major constituent of the human complement subcomponent C1. C1s associates with two other complement components C1r and C1q in order to yield the first component of the serum complement system. Defects in this gene are the cause of selective C1s deficiency.

Product Notes
The Human C1S (Catalog #AAA1751682) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1751682 ELISA Kit recognizes Human C1S. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C1S, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
