Human ATPase family AAA domain containing protein 2 (ATAD2) ELISA Kit | ATAD2 elisa kit
Human ATPase family AAA domain containing protein 2 (ATAD2) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: ATAD2 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing an anti-ATAD2 antibody and an ATAD2-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with ATAD2-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the ATAD2 concentration since ATAD2 from samples and ATAD2-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-ATAD2 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by ATAD2 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind ATAD2-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The ATAD2 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
A large family of ATPases has been described, whose key feature is that they share a conserved region of about 220 amino acids that contains an ATP-binding site. The proteins that belong to this family either contain one or two AAA (ATPases Associated with diverse cellular Activities) domains. AAA family proteins often perform chaperone-like functions that assist in the assembly, operation, or disassembly of protein complexes. The protein encoded by this gene contains two AAA domains, as well as a bromodomain. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
ATAD2: a member of the AAA ATPase family. Contains a bromodomain, a domain known to interact specifically with acetylated lysine. Two alternatively spliced isoforms of the human protein have been reported.

Product Notes
The Human ATAD2 atad2 (Catalog #AAA7204076) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7204076 ELISA Kit recognizes Human ATAD2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ATPase family AAA domain containing protein 2 (ATAD2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
