Related Product Information for Eno1 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with antigen. Samples are pipetted into the wells with anti-human IgG conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). Any antibodies specific for the antigen present will bind to the pre-coated antigen. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of human ENO1 antibody (IgG) bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Uniprot Description

Function: Multifunctional enzyme that, as well as its role in glycolysis, plays a part in various processes such as growth control, hypoxia tolerance and allergic responses. May also function in the intravascular and pericellular fibrinolytic system due to its ability to serve as a receptor and activator of plasminogen on the cell surface of several cell-types such as leukocytes and neurons. Stimulates immunoglobulin production.UniRule annotationHAMAP-Rule:MF_00318

Catalytic activity: 2-phospho-D-glycerate = phosphoenolpyruvate + H2O.UniRule annotationHAMAP-Rule:MF_00318

Cofactor: Magnesium. Binds two Mg2+ per subunit. Required for catalysis and for stabilizing the dimer.

Product Notes

The Human Eno1 eno1 (Catalog #AAA706931) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA706931 ELISA Kit recognizes Human Eno1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "alpha-enolase (ENO1) antibody (IgG), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
