Human PGAM1 (Phosphoglycerate Mutase 1) CLIA Kit | PGAM1 clia kit
Human PGAM1 (Phosphoglycerate Mutase 1) CLIA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This kit uses Sandwich-CLIA as the method. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to PGAM1. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for PGAM1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain PGAM1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured spectrophotometrically by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of PGAM1. You can calculate the concentration of PGAM1 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Phosphoglyceric acid mutase (EC 2.7.5.3) is widely distributed in mammalian tissues where it catalyzes the reversible reaction of 3-phosphoglycerate (3-PGA) to 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PGA) in the glycolytic pathway (summary by Chen et al., 1974 [PubMed 4811757]).[supplied by OMIM, Nov 2010]
Uniprot Description
PGAM1: Interconversion of 3- and 2-phosphoglycerate with 2,3- bisphosphoglycerate as the primer of the reaction. Can also catalyze the reaction of EC 5.4.2.4 (synthase) and EC 3.1.3.13 (phosphatase), but with a reduced activity. Homodimer. In mammalian tissues there are two types of phosphoglycerate mutase isozymes: type-M in muscles and type-B in other tissues. Belongs to the phosphoglycerate mutase family. BPG- dependent PGAM subfamily.
Protein type: EC 5.4.2.11; Phosphatase (non-protein); EC 3.1.3.13; EC 5.4.2.4; Carbohydrate Metabolism - glycolysis and gluconeogenesis; Isomerase
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 10q25.3

Product Notes
The Human PGAM1 pgam1 (Catalog #AAA2532277) is a CLIA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2532277 CLIA Kit recognizes Human PGAM1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PGAM1 (Phosphoglycerate Mutase 1), CLIA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
