Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for HPR clia kit
The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Haptoglobin Related Protein (HPR). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Haptoglobin Related Protein (HPR). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then the mixture of substrate A and B is added to generate glow light emission kinetics. Upon plate development, the intensity of the emitted light is proportional to the Haptoglobin Related Protein (HPR) level in the sample or standard.;

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a haptoglobin-related protein that binds hemoglobin as efficiently as haptoglobin. Unlike haptoglobin, plasma concentration of this protein is unaffected in patients with sickle cell anemia and extensive intravascular hemolysis, suggesting a difference in binding between haptoglobin-hemoglobin and haptoglobin-related protein-hemoglobin complexes to CD163, the hemoglobin scavenger receptor. This protein may also be a clinically important predictor of recurrence of breast cancer. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011]

Product Notes

The Human HPR hpr (Catalog #AAA2000730) is a CLIA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2000730 CLIA Kit recognizes Human HPR. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Haptoglobin Related Protein (HPR), CLIA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
