Related Product Information for GRPEL1 recombinant protein
GRPEL1 is an essential component of the PAM complex, a complex required for the translocation of transit peptide-containing proteins from the inner membrane into the mitochondrial matrix in an ATP-dependent manner. This protein seems to control the nucleotide-dependent binding of mitochondrial HSP70 to substrate proteins. Recombinant human GRPEL1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Uniprot Description

Essential component of the PAM complex, a complex required for the translocation of transit peptide-containing proteins from the inner membrane into the mitochondrial matrix in an ATP-dependent manner (). Seems to control the nucleotide-dependent binding of mitochondrial HSP70 to substrate proteins (PubMed:11311562).

Product Notes

The GRPEL1 grpel1 (Catalog #AAA203832) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tag for this protein is His-tag. AAA Biotech's GRPEL1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GRPEL1 grpel1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MCTATKQKNS GQNLEEDMGQ SEQKADPPAT EKTLLEEKVK LEEQLKETVE KYKRALADTE NLRQRSQKLV EEAKLYGIQA FCKDLLEVAD VLEKATQCVP KEEIKDDNPH LKNLYEGLVM TEVQIQKVFT KHGLLKLNPV GAKFDPYEHE ALFHTPVEGK EPGTVALVSK VGYKLHGRTL RPALVGVVKE A. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GRPEL1, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
