Mouse gastrin-releasing peptide ELISA Kit | GRP elisa kit
Mouse Gastrin-releasing peptide, GRP ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a neuropeptide hormone that affects various biological processes such as neuroendocrine regulation, gastrointestinal secretion, nociception, cell proliferation and inflammation. The encoded protein undergoes proteolytic processing to generate multiple mature peptides with biological activity. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2015]
Uniprot Description
GRP: GRP stimulates gastrin release as well as other gastrointestinal hormones. Operates as a negative feedback regulating fear and established a causal relationship between GRP- receptor gene expression, long-term potentiation, and amygdala- dependent memory for fear. Belongs to the bombesin/neuromedin-B/ranatensin family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Secreted, signal peptide; Secreted
Cellular Component: extracellular space; extracellular region
Molecular Function: neuropeptide hormone activity
Biological Process: neuropeptide signaling pathway

Product Notes
The Mouse GRP grp (Catalog #AAA935048) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA935048 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse GRP. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "gastrin-releasing peptide, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
