Related Product Information for GPR94 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: GPR94 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a monoclonal anti-GPR94 antibody and an GPR94-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with GPR94-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the GPR94 concentration since GPR94 from samples and GPR94-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-GPR94 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by GPR94 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind GPR94-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The GPR94 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.

NCBI Description

The product of this gene belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors. This family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor is activated by ADP. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2008]

Uniprot Description

P2RY13: Receptor for ADP. Coupled to G(i)-proteins. May play a role in hematopoiesis and the immune system. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Receptor, GPCR; Membrane protein, multi-pass; Membrane protein, integral; GPCR, family 1

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 3q24

Cellular Component: integral to plasma membrane; endoplasmic reticulum; plasma membrane

Product Notes

The Rat GPR94 p2ry13 (Catalog #AAA750814) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA750814 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat GPR94. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "G protein-coupled receptor 94, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
