Related Product Information for FRK recombinant protein
Background: FRK is a non-receptor tyrosine-protein kinase that negatively regulates cell proliferation and positively regulates PTEN protein stability through phosphorylation of PTEN on 'Tyr-336', which in turn prevents its ubiquitination and degradation, possibly by reducing its binding to NEDD4. This tyrosine kinase is a nuclear protein and may function during G1 and S phase of the cell cycle and suppress growth and may function as a tumor suppressor. Diseases associated with FRK include Co-Trimoxazole Allergy and Osseous Heteroplasia, Progressive.

Product Notes

The FRK frk (Catalog #AAA389401) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Baculovirus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FRK, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
