Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. The loss of this protein is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
FOXP1: Transcriptional repressor. It plays an important role in the specification and differentiation of lung epithelium. Can act with CTBP1 to synergistically repress transcription but CTPBP1 is not essential. Essential transcriptional regulator of B-cell development. Forms homodimers and heterodimers with FOXP2 and FOXP4. Dimerization is required for DNA-binding. Interacts with CTBP1. 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Transcription factor; DNA-binding; Cell cycle regulation; C2H2-type zinc finger protein
Cellular Component: nucleus
Molecular Function: RNA polymerase II transcription factor activity, enhancer binding; protein binding; protein homodimerization activity; DNA binding; protein heterodimerization activity; sequence-specific DNA binding; metal ion binding; chromatin binding; transcription factor activity
Biological Process: transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; skeletal muscle development; immunoglobulin V(D)J recombination; transcription, DNA-dependent; in utero embryonic development; heart development; positive regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; motor axon guidance; sarcomere organization; negative regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; cardiac muscle cell differentiation; smooth muscle development; pre-B cell differentiation; positive regulation of immunoglobulin production; embryonic development; regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; positive regulation of mesenchymal cell proliferation; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; regulation of cardiac muscle cell proliferation; negative regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; positive regulation of epithelial cell proliferation; lung development

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Forkhead Box Protein P1, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
