EF-hand domain-containing family member C2 (EFHC2) Recombinant Protein | EFHC2 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human EF-hand domain-containing family member C2 (EFHC2)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein which contains three DM10 domains and three calcium-binding EF-hand motifs. A related protein is encoded by a gene on chromosome 6. It has been suggested that both proteins are involved in the development of epilepsy (PMID: 15258581, 16112844) and that this gene may be associated with fear recognition in individuals with Turner syndrome. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "EF-hand domain-containing family member C2 (EFHC2), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
