Related Product Information for DYNLL2 recombinant protein
Dynein light chain 2, cytoplasmic, also known DYNLL2, is a large protein complex composed of six distinct subunits and is responsible for most intracellular movement toward the minus ends of microtubules. Dyneins are multisubunit, high molecular weight ATPases that interact with microtubules to generate force by converting the chemical energy of ATP into the mechanical energy of movement. DYNLL2 is a highly conserved eukaryotic hub protein with dozens of binding partners and various functions beyond being a subunit of dynein and myosin Va motor proteins. Recombinant human DYNLL2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Uniprot Description

Acts as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought to be involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 acts as a motor for the intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. May play a role in changing or maintaining the spatial distribution of cytoskeletal structures ().

Product Notes

The DYNLL2 dynll2 (Catalog #AAA204068) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tag for this protein is His-tag. AAA Biotech's DYNLL2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DYNLL2 dynll2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MSDRKAVIKN ADMSEDMQQD AVDCATQAME KYNIEKDIAA YIKKEFDKKY NPTWHCIVGR NFGSYVTHET KHFIYFYLGQ VAILLFKSG. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DYNLL2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
