Putative sulfate transporter ychM (ychM) Recombinant Protein | ychM recombinant protein
Recombinant Escherichia coli Putative sulfate transporter ychM (ychM), partial
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
marC, ychE and yhgN are paralogs. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG12392]. The YchM protein is a putative sulfate transporter belonging to the SulP family of sulfate transporters. [More information is available at EcoCyc: EG12392].
Uniprot Description
Responsible for the aerobic transport of succinate from the periplasm to the cytoplasm at acidic pH. Can transport other C4-dicarboxylic acids such as aspartate and fumarate. May also play a role in the regulation of C4-dicarboxylic acid metabolism at pH 7, via regulation of expression and/or activity of DctA. May act as a co-sensor of DcuS.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Putative sulfate transporter ychM (ychM), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
