Granulocyte Macrophage-Colony Stimulating Factor Recombinant Protein | GM-CSF recombinant protein
Human Granulocyte Macrophage-Colony Stimulating Factor Recombinant
Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/ug (1EU/ug).
Recombinant GM-CSF is a disulfide-linked monomer protein, consisting of 128 amino acids and migrates as an approximately 15 kDa protein under reducing conditions.
Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2 degree - 8 degree C for one month, or at -20 degree C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes and macrophages. The active form of the protein is found extracellularly as a homodimer. This gene has been localized to a cluster of related genes at chromosome region 5q31, which is known to be associated with interstitial deletions in the 5q- syndrome and acute myelogenous leukemia. Other genes in the cluster include those encoding interleukins 4, 5, and 13. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
