CD9 / Tspan-29 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human CD9 / Tspan-29 Protein (His tag)
Description: A DNA sequence encoding the second extracellular domain (Ser 112-Ile 195) of human CD9 (NP_001760.1) was fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus and a signal peptide at the N-terminus.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Tetraspanins are cell surface glycoproteins with four transmembrane domains that form multimeric complexes with other cell surface proteins. The encoded protein functions in many cellular processes including differentiation, adhesion, and signal transduction, and expression of this gene plays a critical role in the suppression of cancer cell motility and metastasis. Product Notes
The CD9 / Tspan-29 cd9 (Catalog #AAA2545168) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The recombinant human CD9 consists of 95 amino acids and predictes a molecular mass of 11 kDa as estimated in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD9 / Tspan-29 cd9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD9 / Tspan-29, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
