CD200 / OX-2 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human CD200 / OX-2 Protein (His & Fc tag)
Description: A DNA sequence encoding the human CD200 (NP_005935.4) extracellular domain (Met 1-Gly 232) was fused with the C-terminal polyhistidine-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a type I membrane glycoprotein containing two extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane and a cytoplasmic domain. This gene is expressed by various cell types, including B cells, a subset of T cells, thymocytes, endothelial cells, and neurons. The encoded protein plays an important role in immunosuppression and regulation of anti-tumor activity. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. Product Notes
The CD200 / OX-2 cd200 (Catalog #AAA2546030) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The recombinant human CD200/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer consists of 450 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 50.5 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rh CD200/Fc monomer is approximately 65-70 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD200 / OX-2 cd200 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD200 / OX-2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
