Applicable Applications for bca-1 recombinant protein
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes
ELISA: To detect hBCA-1 by direct ELISA (using 100µl/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hBCA-1.
Western Blot: To detect hBCA-1 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hBCA-1 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Immunogen
Highly purified, recombinant BCA-1 (B Cell-Attracting Chemokine-1)
Country of Origin
USA
Reconstitution
The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at- 20 degree C. When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 degree C.
Preparation and Storage
-20 degree C
Related Product Information for bca-1 recombinant protein
BCA-1/BLC, a CXC chemokine, is expressed in the liver, spleen, lymph nodes, appendix and stomach. It exerts its activities through its only receptor CXCR5. BCA-1/BLC is a potent chemoattractant for B lymphocytes and induces weak chemotactic response in T cells and macrophages. It manifests no activity on neutrophils and monocytes. Recombinant Human BCA-1 is a 10.1 D protein containing 85 amino acid residues including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CXC chemokines.

Product Notes

The bca-1 (Catalog #AAA618851) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The BCA-1 Human, Recombinant (B Cell Attracting Chemokine1, B Lymphocyte Chemoattractant, BLC, CXCL13, BLR1 Ligand) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's BCA-1 Human can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the bca-1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BCA-1 Human, Polyclonal Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
